XI Contest "Standardization and me" organized by the Polish Committee for Standardization
Contest "Standardization and me"
The Polish Committee for Standardization makes every effort to popularize knowledge about standardization among the young people. One of the initiatives is the nationwide contest "Standardization and me", organized for 11 years. Each edition of which has its own theme, this year it is "Concrete or green? Sustainable urbanism with Polish Standards”.
The purpose of the contest is to disseminate knowledge about standardization and importance of standards in an everyday life.
Why it matters?
The knowledge gained during preparations for the contest can be used by students and teachers during classes.
The participation of all interested parties is crucial for any initiative aimed at development of education on standardization. It improves accessibility and its level worldwide, and can contribute to professionalization and its development at the national level. It is also necessary to develop standardization itself, both as an academic discipline and as a profession.
