The meeting of the Presidents of Technical Bodies

On 15th November at the Novotel Hotel in Warsaw, Polish Committee for Standardization has organized a meeting of Presidents of Technical Bodies. The Management of PKN, Directors of PKN’s Departments and managers of all sectors took part in the meeting.

The meeting was aimed to present the most important tasks for Presidents of Technical Bodies and the new system of qualifying the Secretaries. The participants were acquainted with the procedures of the functioning of Technical Bodies – planned changes were highlighted, also a list of useful information and applications on PKN’s website was given.

The meeting traditionally ended with a discussion during which the participants asked for additional information and shared their doubts; the most controversial were the issues connected to invoking the standards in law regulations.

Arranging the meeting was PKN’s tribute to Presidents of Technical Bodies and appreciation of their impact on the quality of standardization documents.
