PKN Technical Bodies

Technical Bodies are collegiate bodies set up by the President of PKN for standardization works.

At present, the following Technical Bodies operate at PKN:

• Sector Councils (RS) - collegiate bodies set up in order to coordinate, determine and provide opinion on topics related to the standardization works of the Standardization Department’s Sectors;
• Technical Committees (KT) - collegiate bodies set up for standardization works in specific thematic fields;
• Project Committees (KZ) - collegiate bodies set up for a specific standardization project;
• Technical Subcommittees (PK) - collegiate bodies set up for individual standardization works in a separate part of a KT’s thematic scope.

The PZN (Polish Standardization Resource) enables searching Technical Bodies by name, thematic scope, Sector, ICS or cooperating Technical Committee (CEN, CENELEC, ISO, IEC).
